Uganda Cranes Coach Milutin ‘Micho' Sredojevic has called upon his Uganda Kobs team not to relax after defeating Rwanda 2-1 last weekend in the first leg of the 2016 Olympics/CAF 2015 U-23 qualifier.

Last Saturday Skipper Farouk Miya who was also voted most valuable player (MVP) in the 2014/2015 Azam Uganda Premier League gave Uganda the lead after nine minutes when he curved in a free kick to beat Rwanda goalkeeper Olivier Kwizera.

Fullback Dominique Savio Nshuti equalized for the home side in the 59th minute to bring back hope for Rwanda but a lapse in concentration ten minutes later, saw substitute Muzamiru Mutyaba score the second goal.

Rwanda's team will be without their young Coach Jonny McKinstry for the return leg after he left the country over the weekend on matters to do with his UEFA Pro License. Assistant coach Vincent Mashami will be in charge of the team.

The winning team will face Egypt in October in the last phase of the qualifiers after which the best team makes it to the 2015 CAF U-23 Championship to take place in Senegal in December. The best three teams at the African event will automatically qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games.
