Kadaga observed that efforts to help Albinos are often frustrated because of the absence of information on their numbers and location across the country. Although there are no clear records, the ministry of gender says that the highest number of Albinos is in Eastern Uganda, particularly in the districts of Buyende, Jinja and Iganga.
