The appointments committee of parliament has finalized the vetting exercise for three newly appointed officials. They include the Inspector General of Police - Designate Martin Okoth Ochola, his deputy Brigadier Sabiiti Muzeei and Elly Tumwine, the designate Security Minister.

The process follows changes by President Yoweri Museveni in which he appointed the three and dropped the long serving IGP Kale Kayihura and Security Minister Lt. Gen Henry Tumukunde.
