Hundreds of people on Sunday joined old girls and students of Gayaza High School in a walk to fundraise for over 1 billion Shillings for the construction of a new administration block.

The walk dubbed Tambula Gayaza attracted more than 500 participants. They were flagged off by Namirembe Diocese Bishop Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira and took the walk through the streets of Kampala.

The fundraising drive was attended by Janet Katha Museveni, Minister of Education and Sports.
