A German-funded non-governmental organzation, Kitovu Mobile, issued six million shillings to youth groups in Masaka District to help them start agricultural projects. Kitovu Mobile supervisor, Steven Malinzi said the groups have been trained in agricultural and livestock production and the money is start-up capital. The project is funded by a German agency KindaNotifuh which is based in Berlin. He said that the project covers the districts of Masaka, Sembabule and Rakai. The Kyanamukaaka local council three chairman, Edward Katongole, urged the youths to use the funds wisely. Each group has 10 members ranging from 18 to 30 years.
