The study findings indicate that Holy Water, commonly used by congregants in Pentecostal churches contains pathogenic microorganisms such as E. coli, and Coliforms, a type of bacteria known to cause diarrhea, urinary tract infections, respiratory illness and pneumonia, abdominal pain, and fever.
