Uganda Radio Network (URN) is Uganda’s leading news agency. URN is trusted for breaking news fast and accurately. For fourteen years now, URN has judged itself and been judged by its clients for accuracy and speed of news delivery.

URN was the first Ugandan media platform to break the news of the death of Uganda’s President Milton Obote on October 25, 2005. URN was also the first media company on the scene to report on the devastating Namugoona Highway fire of June 2013 that claimed 33 lives.

Uganda Radio Network is interested in the promotion of education in Uganda. We will go to the remotest parts of this country to bring you worthwhile education stories, no matter under what conditions that education is being delivered.

URN offices can also be found in Kabale, Mbarara, Kabarole, Hoima, Kasese, Arua, Gulu, Moroto, Soroti, Mbale, Jinja, Entebbe, Lira, Kitgum, Masaka, Mukono and Luweero.
