Uganda Cycling Association in Financial Crisis

The Uganda Cycling Association president, Bruhan Ssekibenga, says the association is in financial crisis and may feel to meet many of its obligations this year. Ssekibenga says the Cycling association needs 60 million shillings to run its 2007 cycling events budget. He says that with the huge budgetary constraints could force Uganda's withdrawal from several international cycling events. // Cue: iWe don't have money# Cue: #good machines.// Ssekibenga is appealing for financial assistance to help the team participate in the tour de Egypt cycling event. The event scheduled for February 8-14th, is organized by the Egyptian Cycling Federation. But the Uganda Cycling association has not yet secured tickets for its participants.
