Iddi Aduha prayers in Masaka town ended abruptly, after Muslims stormed out of a mosque protesting the Mufti of Uganda's message. More than 500 Muslims stormed out of the mosque shortly after Sheikh Habib Kaweesa, of Masaka started reading a statement from the Mufti of Uganda. The statement highlighted Sheikh Mubaje's explanation on the alleged sale of Muslim Properties. Chaos reined in the mosque when Kaweesa said Mubajje was being falsely implicated in the alleged sale of Muslim land and other properties. Irked by the statement, the Muslims one by one stormed out of the mosque, before the prayers ended. Attempts by the Masaka Mosque Imam, Jamil Mbuga, to call them back fell on deaf ears. A handful of Muslims however returned to the mosque following the imam's plea to pray for the former President of Iraq, Sadam Hussein, who was executed today morning. Prayers for the late Sadam Hussein were led by The Masaka District Kadhi, Sheikh Kuzail Kiruuta.
