115 Accidents Recorded During Christmas Week

Pedestrians accounted for the highest number of persons killed in Christmas week accidents.

Police says 115 accidents were recorded in the last one week, 36 of them fatal.

Kampala Central, Makindye and Nakawa divisions in Kampala registered the most accidents, with approximately one accident every day.

According to the police spokesperson, Fred Enanga, a total of 42 people died in the Christmas week accidents.
