Omusuga Charles Kamurasi, the head of the Babiito royal clan has been sacked for incompetence. The decision to sack Kamurasi was reached during a meeting of the Babiito clan held at the home of Switiza Kaijamurubi at Haruhoto,Fort Portal town. The meeting chaired by Cyprian Winyi Kasaija, yesterday evening passed a vote of no confidence in the Omusuga Charles Kamurasi. The babiito claimed that that the omusuga is divisive and has failed to perform in his duties. They also accused him for his involvement in burning of the life Radio fm transmitter. All the 56 babiito clan members who attended the meeting agreed unanimously to sack the Omusuga. Kamurasi's sacking comes three weeks after three other regents were sacked from office by the kingdoms supreme council, the Orukurato. Prof. Oswald Ndolelire, Zaverio Byabagambi and Isaaya Kalya were dismissed for abuse of office and failing to meet the kingdoms expectations.
