Police in Iganga is hunting for a suspected witchdoctor who killed his wife in a ritual murder. Assistant Police spokesman Patrick Onyango said yesterday Bakala, a witchdoctor from Kakonge village in Iganga killed his wife, Kasumbo on Monday night. Onyango said Bakala called his wife to the shrine and administered herbs that made her unconscious. Bakala then started cutting off his wife's body parts including the private parts. Onyango said that while Bakala was cutting off the fingers on the right hand Kasumbo raised an alarm that attracted neighbours. Bakala escaped the wrath of the neighbours, leaving Kasumbo who died before she could be transferred to hospital.
